Aging Gracefully: An 8-Week Journey to Health and Vitality

This comprehensive 8-week program is designed to empower individuals to take charge of their health, optimize their mobility and strength, and embrace evidence-based strategies for aging well. Each session includes a dynamic mix of education, practical exercises, and actionable homework to help participants make meaningful lifestyle changes.

Course Highlights:

  • Week 1: Introduction to Aging Gracefully
    Learn the foundational principles of aging well and set personalized health goals.

  • Week 2-3: Assessing Baseline Fitness
    Discover methods to evaluate your current fitness level, including key measures of cognition, strength, endurance, flexibility, body composition and functional assessments to track progress effectively.

  • Week 4: Strength Training for Longevity
    Explore what should a strengthen program consist of and progressive plan to get started

  • Week 5: Aerobic Conditioning
    Practical Application of Zone 2 and Zone 5 training to improve one's VO₂ max. Implement strategies for improving cardiovascular health.

  • Week 6: Stability and Mobility
    Applying Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) throughout life and where to start training to reduce fall risk and enhance functional independence.

  • Week 7: Health from Head to Toe
    Dive into a holistic approach to optimal foot health, transitioning to minimalist shoes, and a proper brain health routine

  • Week 8: Periodized Training Plans
    Learn to integrate all aspects of the course into a personalized, sustainable exercise plan for 3 different fitness and commitment levels 

  • Extra: advanced Baseline measurements: 

    I am seeking donations to support future classes focused on aging gracefully. These contributions will assist in covering the operational costs of the class, which amounts to $100 per session. I am providing all materials at no charge and kindly requesting donations to help fund future expenses.
